Why Charlotte started CL Clearances
It started with a shed. Charlotte helped a friend get rid of one and kept meeting the same problem around Howden afterwards: people with things that needed to go, but no time, no suitable vehicle and no legal way to dispose of it themselves.
Many of the calls that followed came at hard moments — a bereavement, a move into care, a property that had to be handed back. Charlotte built the business around those jobs, and kept it small enough that she can still attend every one herself.
